Disappearance of Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon, two Dutch girls that disappeared during a hike in Panama. 10 weeks after their disappearance bone fragments and a backpack were found. These pictures were retrieved from a camera that was in the backpack. What happened to the girls remains a mystery.

Dutch tourists Kris Kremers, 21, and Lisanne Froon, 22, went on March 15, 2014 to Panama for a six-week vacation. After two weeks, Both women disappeared without leaving a trace while hiking near the town of Boquete. The summer of last year, locals found a backpack belonging to one of the women along with nearby skeletal remains. Dutch tourists Kris Kremers, 21, and Lisanne Froon, 22, went on March 15, 2014 to Panama for a six-week vacation. A camera with over 100 photos was found in the backpack, the pictures were. At least 90 of the pictures that were found on the camera were taken 10 days after. I mean, what you say is valuable and all.
Lisanne Froon, 22. Picture taken on april 1, the day of her disappearance. Cellphone data, found in their backpack, revealed that attempts to dial 911 were made some 2 hours after this photo was taken. There was no reception. The last attempt to dial 911 was 10 days after their disappearance.

Another 90 photos have been retrieved from the camera, all were taken 10 days after their disappearance, during a 4 hour time span (1 – 4am). 87 out of 90 were completely black, the others showed fragments of branches and rocks. These images have not been released.
Remains found by locals. The shoe (with a foot still in it) was identified as being sold only in the Netherlands, with that indentifying it was Kris’. DNA test later confirmed the remains belonged to Kris, the pelvis to Lisanne.

UPDATE 1 SEPTEMBER 2014 More pictures have leaked through Panamese media. This one shows Kris on the same location as the picture from Lisanne.
