Kotor 2 Crashes After First Cutscene

I run my graphics on high with no problems, with the exception of the Assault on Tython end cutscene. I logged in to play the new content. Within five minutes on Ossus scanning, game freeze. Restart game, log in, turn down graphics to low - freeze on cut scene. After 5 more tries I get to the ship - Freeze up.
Basically, the new content is unplayable for me. I am mad so I haven't tried any other stuff to see if it the problem has found its way into other content but if I know SWTOR, it has.
Anybody else having this problem?

When starting the cutscene where you talk to the emperor in KOTFE the game crashes. The screen turns black, and I can hear background hum and music but no audio and game essentially freezes. I then get a popup saying SWTOR is not responding. I want to see the base game first before I start modding, even if the mods are fantastic - but having to go to windowed for all the cutscenes is annoying. If there's no way to get the bugfix as an isolated patch, I'll save it for after my second playthrough.

Game freezes after the cut scene the first time you enter the Ebon Hawk. None of those worked but i do have the black screen after cutscene bug i realize now. Knights of the Old Republic. and Obsidian Entertainment's 2004 sequel.Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Kotor 2 crashes after movie cutscenes When I downloaded kotor 2 from steam, I downloaded the TSLRCM and KSE (kotor savegame editor). When I started the game, it would crash after the lucas arts logo would display before the main menu appeared. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and had the same problem. After I create my charater and hit play,the loading screen pops up, then goes to a black screen like it's going to start up the first cut scene, but the screen stays black for awhile, then after awhile it closes out and tells me that KOTOR has stopped working and to close the program.
