Hi again, it has been a while but im back and hopefully somebody will find here what they were looking for.
So how often you will set bios password and forget it and after while you are trying to access your laptops bios and don't remember password... well... that never happened to me and don't believe there's to many people like that around:). Its actually funny when you read.. that my kids managed to install bios password and now i cant access laptop... maybe!!! NOOOT!!!
Most of my laptops are coming from offices so they will have bios passwords installed by the system admins so users could not mess up some important settings so no Mickey Mouse PS.. but whatever your reasons are to unlock Acer bios password here is very simple tutorial how to do it and if for some reason it doesn't work then don't blame me since it is free service and no warranty given :)

Ok let start - turn on your Acer laptop and immediately start pressing F2 button on your keyboard, F2 button is used to access bios so now you should see 'Enter Current Password' - enter wrong password 3 times and you should see 'Enter Unlock Password', now press enter and you should see your Unlock Key... take a note of that key and go to BiOSBUG.com, enter that key into search field and press 'Send Request' button and few seconds later you should get your Acer bios unlock key.
Now take a note of that key and go back to your laptop and enter that into 'Enter Unlock Password' box and if successful you should be in bios, now in bios go to security tab and press enter on Set Supervisor Password and little box with 3 password fields should pop up, enter your unlock key from BiOSBUG.com into first field which is current password field and leave new password field and confirm field blank just hit enter 2 times. Now navigate Exit tab and press on Exit Saving Changes and that's it.. your laptop should have no bios password anymore and you should be able to boot to Windows OS or whatever you have installed.

Hello again, once again we are back here with same problem... Bios password has been forgotten or for some reason after bios update you will power on your laptop and it will prompt you to enter password, was reading in good few forums that this seems to happen often to Acer laptops that after bios update there's a bios password, don't know is it really true or not but personally have never encountered that and i have done many bios updates.
For long time there was only 8 digit bios passwords on Acer laptops but all new Acer machines have 10 digit recovery codes and finally i can help out.
Free Dell Bios Password Unlock
What ever you do don't pay for it, i noticed that there is many sites selling unlock codes as much as for 20 dollars and that is ridiculous because it should be totally free.
To remove your Acer laptop bios password all you need is your phone, laptop or any other device with access to internet.
- Power on your laptop, by pressing power button
- Enter Current Password box appears
- Now press Enter button on your keyboard 3-4 times
- Until Enter Unlock Password (Key:1375887405), note that your key will be different
- Go to BiosBug.com and navigate: Acer Bios Unlock - Acer 10 Digit Bios Unlock
- Type in your 10 digits from laptop and that will generate your unlock code
- Go back to your laptop and enter all the digits from BiosBug and press Enter
