Below is a list of various command line options that can be used with Grand Theft Auto IV (4) (external link) on the PC:

A file called 'commandline.txt' can be helpful if you get the the following error message under Graphics in the GTA 4 menu:Warning: Your graphics settings ar. Download of commandLine.txt (commandLine.txt (external link: SF.net): 1,236 bytes) will begin shortly.If not so, click link on the left.   • A way to fix the annoying way under specs vram in GTA IV is to create a text document in the GTA IV installation folder (ie: C: Program Files (x86) steam steamapps common GTAIV GTAIV) called commandline.txt and put the following text in that document: -availablevidmem 2.0 and then save it. On my pc it adds hundreds of MB so i put in -availablevidmem 20.0, and i now have something like.

You can these commands easily by creating a commandline.txt file within your default GTA IV install folder (the default is C:Program FilesRockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IV), put each command on its own line to run multiple commands at once.
